Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited ("The Company") is pleased to submit herewith the consolidated and company financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2009. The operating results compared to the year ended September 30, 2008 are as follow: The operating performance of the company and its subsidiaries for the year ended September 30, 2009 has shown the net profit of 22.71 Million Baht compared to the 29.74 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008 or decreased by 23.65%. Details are as follow: Revenue For the total revenues of the year ended September 30, 2009 were 255.58 Million Baht that were generated from six main business which were TV business for 218.36 Million Baht, Publishing business 2.89 Million Baht, Animation business 1.03 Million Baht, Movie business 18.21 Million Baht, Concerts & Plays business 4.55 Million Baht, Event Marketing business 2.85 Million Baht, and Other revenues 7.69 Million Baht. The total revenues decreased by 12.63% compared to the 292.54 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008. Details are as follow: 1) Television Business The revenue was 218.36 Million Baht which was decreased 32.79 Million Baht compared to 251.15 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008 or decreased by 13.06%. The main reason was the decreasing of total broadcasting time from 243 hours in year ended September 30, 2008 to 179 hours in year ended September 30, 2009. 2) Publishing Business The publishing business had the revenue of 2.89 Million Baht which was decreased 1.58 Million Baht compared to 4.47 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008. The decreasing of revenue mainly was resulted from economic slowdown (Publishing advertising expenditure industry decreased by 20.20%) 3) Animation Business The animation business had the revenue of 1.03 Million Baht which was decreased 13.87 Million Baht compared to 14.90 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008. 4) Movie Business The company has recognized the revenue from the Movie: "6.66 Death not happen" which was 18.21 Million Baht. 5) Concerts & Plays Business The Concerts & Plays business had the revenue of 4.55 Million Baht which was decreased 11.01 Million Baht compared to 15.56 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2008. 6) Event Marketing Business The revenue was 2.85 Million Baht which was increased by 100.16% from 1.42 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008. Cost of Production 1) Television Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 132.10 Million Baht which was decreased 16.94 Million Baht from 149.05 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008. 2) Publishing Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 1.15 Million Baht which was decreased 0.36 Million Baht from 1.51 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008 which were the same direction as revenue. 3) Animation Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 3.67 Million Baht which was decreased 8.53 Million Baht from 12.21 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008. 4) Movie Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 14.59 Million Baht 5) Concerts & Plays Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 6.27 Million Baht which was decreased 6.97 Million Baht from 13.24 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008. 6) Event Marketing Business For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 2.06 Million Baht which was increased 0.89 Million Baht from 1.17 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008 which were the same direction as revenue. Selling and Administration Expenses For the year ended September 30, 2009, the company had total selling and administration expenses for the total amount of 61.86 Million Baht which decreased by 14.27% from 72.16 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2008.
