Ref. WORK 018 / 2005 November 15, 2005 Re : Clarification of the financial performance for 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2005 ended September 30,2005. To : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited ("the company") are pleased to submit herewith the Consolidated and Company Financial Statemen for the 3rd quarter of Fiscal Year 2005 ended in September 30,2005. The operating results compare to the year ended September 30, 2004 as following; The operating performance of the company and its subsidiaries for 3rd quarter of fiscal year ended September 30, 2005 had shown the net profit of THB 71.11 million. The Net Profit had been increased by THB 12.95 million comparing to THB 58.16 million in the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2004 or22.27% improvement. It reflects the operating potential and profitability of the company. Major reasons of such increase as shown below; Revenue In the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2005 the company had total revenue in total amount of THB 274.38 million, which increased by THB 55.31 million comparing to THB 219.07 million from total revenue in the same period of last year or increased in 25.25%. The source of revenue came from: 1.TV Program production business generated total revenue in the amount of THB 260.30 million or increasing by THB 46.77 million comparing to the same quarter in the previous year, which had the total revenue in the amount of THB 213.53 million, or 21.90% improvement. The increase of the total revenue came from increasing of advertising minutes, from 28 hours in the 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2004 to 47 hours in the same period of 2005 or 67.9% growth. 2. Publishing Business, which is operated by a subsidiary company, Workpoint Publishing Company Limited, generated total revenue in the amount of THB 9.49 million in the 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2005 comparing to THB 5.24 million from the 3rd quarter for the fiscal year 2004 or 81.11% growth, which came from increasing of pocket books and advertising in the magazine. 3. 3D Animation Business, which is operated by another subsidiary company,Ittirit House Company Limited, generated total revenue in the amount of THB 3.32 million,which came from to be employed to produce 3D Animation for motion picyure.This company was established in the 1st quarter 2005. Cost and Expenses Due to the fact that the broadcasting time had been increased and the new business had been launched from subsidiary companies, the total production cost and expenses for the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2005 amounted to THB 178.57 million compare to the same period of the previous year of THB 141.52 million or 26.18% increasing. Within the total cost and expenses, the company able to control cost of TV Program production very fair. The TV program production cost in the 3rd quarter 2005 amounted to THB 115.79 million compared to THB 96.79 million in the same period of last year or 19.63% growth. Please be informed accordingly.
