Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited ("The Company") is pleased to submit herewith the consolidated and company financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2008. The operating results compared to the year ended December 31, 2007 are as follow: The operating performance of the company and its subsidiaries for the year ended December 31, 2008 has shown the net profit of 162.06 Million Baht compared to the 249.52 Million Baht of the year ended December 31, 2007 or decreased by 35.05% . Details are as follow: Revenue For the total revenues of the year ended December 31, 2008 were 1,219.33 Million Baht that were generated from five main business which were TV business for 1,103.85 Million Baht, Publishing business 25.78 Million Baht, Animation and other services business 20.55 Million Baht, Motion pictures business 26.07 Million Baht, Concerts and plays business 15.56 Million Baht, and other revenues 27.52 Million Baht. The total revenues decreased by 9.51 % compared to the 1,347.46 Million Baht of the year ended December 31, 2007. Detail are as follow: 1) Television Business The revenue was 1,103.85 Million Baht which was decreased by 97.38 Million Baht compared to 1,201.23 Million Baht of the year ended December 31, 2007 or decreased by 8.11%. The decreasing of revenue mainly was resulted from economic slowdown and domestic political conflict which has the effect on media ads spending decreased by 2.8% ( TV decreased by 4.4%). 2) Publishing Business The publishing business had the revenue of 25.78 Million Baht which was increased by 23.94% from 20.8 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007. The increasing of revenue mainly was resulted from the pocket books 3) Animation and other services Business The animation business has been operated under Ittirit House Company Limited. The revenue was 20.55 Million Baht which was increased by 110.77% from 9.75 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007. The increasing of revenue mainly was resulted from more recognized revenue on project which is still ongoing. 4) Motion pictures Business The motion pictures business had the revenue of 26.07 Million Baht which was decreased by 53.43% from 55.98 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007. 5) Concerts and plays Business The concerts and plays business had the revenue of 15.56 Million Baht which was decreased by 52.15% from 32.52 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007. Cost of Production 1. Television Business for the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 616.71 Million Baht which increased by 2.79% from 599.97 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007 . 2. Publishing Business For the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 12.06 Million Baht which increased by 32.24% from 9.12 Million Baht in year ended December 31,2007 which were the same direction as revenue. 3. Animation and other services Business For the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 16.73 Million Baht which increased by 73.37% from 9.65 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007 4) Motion pictures Business For the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 14.86 Million Baht which decreased by 42.74% from 25.95 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007 5) Concerts and plays Business For the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 13.34 Million Baht which decreased by 40.15% from 22.29 Million Baht in year ended December 31, 2007 Selling and Administration Expenses For the year ended December 31, 2008, the company had total selling and administration expenses for the total amount of 305.99 Million Baht which decreased by 4.63%. The selling and administration expenses portion to the total revenue was 25.09% compared to the last year portion of 23.81%. Please be informed accordingly.
