Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited ("The Company") is pleased to submit herewith the consolidated and company financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2008. The operating results compared to the year ended September 30, 2007 are as follow: The operating performance of the company and its subsidiaries for the year ended September 30, 2008 has shown the net profit of 29.74 Million Baht compared to the 79.67 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2007 or decreased by 63%. Details are as follow: Revenue For the total revenues of the year ended September 30, 2008 were 293.22 Million Baht that were generated from four main business which were TV business for 251.15 Million Baht, Publishing business 4.47 Million Baht, Animation business 12.89 Million Baht, Movie Advertising business 2 Million Baht, and other revenues 22.69 Million Baht. The total revenues decreased by 17% compared to the 355.19 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2007. Detail are as follow: 1) Television Business The company broadcasting time was decreased by 23 hours compared to the year ended September 30, 2007. The revenue was 251.15 Million Baht which was decreased by 39.01 Million Baht compared to 290.16 Million Baht of the year ended September 30, 2007 or decreased by 13%. The decreasing of revenue mainly was resulted from Olympic Sport telecast which effected to broadcasting time and economic slowdown and domestic political conflict which has the effect on media ads spending decreased by 5.47% ( TV decreased by 8.79%). 2) Publishing Business The publishing business had the revenue of 4.47 Million Baht which was increased by 40% from 3.20 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2007. The increasing of revenue mainly was resulted from the pocket books. 3) Animation Business The animation business has been operated under Ittirit House Company Limited. The revenue was 12.89 Million Baht which was increased by 649% from 1.72 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2007. The increasing of revenue mainly was resulted from more recognized revenue on project which is still ongoing. 4) Movie Business The company has recognized the revenue from the movie advertising The revenue was 2 Million Baht. Cost of Production 1. Television Business For the year ended September 30, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 149.04 Million Baht which increased by 10% from 135.31 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2007. 2. Publishing Business For the year ended September 30, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 1.51 Million Baht which increased by 30% from 1.17 Million Baht in year ended September 30,2007 which were the same direction as revenue. 3. Animation Business For the year ended September 30, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 10.90 Million Baht which increased by 448% from 1.99 Million Baht in year ended September 30, 2007. 4) Movie Business For the year ended September 30, 2008, the company had cost of production for the total amount of 1.30 Million Baht. Selling and Administration Expenses For the year ended September 30, 2008, the company had total selling and administration expenses for the total amount of 74.01 Million Baht which decreased by 2.3%. The selling and administration expenses portion to the total revenue was 25% compared to the last year portion of 21.3%. Please be informed accordingly.
